Principal's Message

Education enables a person to face new challenges, achieve progress and lead a successful life. We, therefore, at PPG Institute of Technology (PPGIT), would like to encourage all students to thrive for the best to make them knowledgeable in their relevant branches of engineering with high self esteem and discipline. Education at our Institution is not only for academic brilliance but also for an ambience where our ancient cultural heritage and human skills are enhanced.

PPGIT is located within the city limits of Coimbatore at Saravanampatti and well connected through roads. The students have a wide range of choice of courses from the traditional branches like Civil, Mechanical to the Hi-tech branches like Mechatronics & IT etc. The departments and Class rooms are aesthetically designed in modern building blocks to ensure high degree efficiency in the teaching / learning process and the entire environment is conducive and ideally suited for any kind of academic activity. Besides seven UG programmes in Engineering, PPGIT has six PG programmes - four in Engineering, one each in MBA and MCA. All the departments are headed by experienced and knowledgeable teaching faculty. The laboratories are well equipped and continuously updated to meet the changing requirement in the syllabus stipulated by Anna University.
