The guest lecture titled “Cloud Virtualization: The Backbone of Modern Cloud Computing” was conducted for third-year Computer Science and Engineering students of PPG Institute of Technology on 2025-10-23 at 10:00 AM. The venue was CP LAB II. The guest speaker was Gnanasekar Rajagopal, identified in the report as a DevOps Engineer and associated with Colruyt Group Pvt Ltd, Coimbatore. The objectives included providing an understanding of cloud virtualization technologies, exploring virtualization techniques, tools and platforms, bridging theoretical concepts with real-world applications, fostering student interest in emerging cloud technologies, and creating a platform for knowledge sharing and collaborative learning.
