The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science and the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at PPG Institute of Technology organized the seminar Ethical Hacking Challenges of GenAI in Cyber Security. The resource person was Mr. Krishnaraj B, CyberOps Engineer at KGiSL, Coimbatore. The seminar introduced the basics of ethical hacking and cybersecurity and explored the role of Generative Artificial Intelligence in cyber threats. Topics included AI-generated phishing, deep fakes, automated malware, AI-driven attacks and defense, and practices for strengthening cybersecurity systems. The session aimed to help participants recognize modern cyber threats and understand the importance of ethical and secure practices in protecting digital systems.
