The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science and the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning conducted a seminar on “Towards Autonomous Manufacturing: The Impact of AI and ML on Future Production Systems”. The session explained how AI technologies such as Machine Learning, Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing can improve production processes. AI can analyze data from sensors, equipment and production lines to optimize efficiency, improve quality, reduce downtime and identify potential issues. The seminar also covered collaborative robots and autonomous mobile robots, supply chain management, AI-powered modular manufacturing, inventory and order management, digital twins, generative AI, demand forecasting, equipment reliability, energy efficiency and worker safety.
